TRAINING CURRICULUM
Edwards, Kenny & Bray LLP is committed to the ongoing professional development of the firm's students and lawyers. As part of our Professional Development Program, we have established a skills training strategy that has been tailored to meet their needs.
Courses are taught by EKB lawyers and professional educators who are leaders in their areas of expertise. Training is focused in three major areas:
Legal Skills
The PDP supplements Continuing Legal Education curriculum with basic skills courses, such as legal research and writing and trial preparation. We hold regular “Lunch and Learn” sessions covering current or emerging legal topics and issues.
Management Skills
The PDP offers training to enhance our lawyers’ management of daily interactions with staff and other professionals working either within or outside of the firm.
Client Skills
The PDP offers courses that focus on developing the skills and techniques required for effective client relations.
