  • Representing a former vice president in overcoming, in an action for wrongful dismissal, a contractual limit on damages payable by the employer and resulting in an award of 22 months' pay in lieu of notice:  Schmidt v. AMEC Earth and Environmental Ltd., [2004] B.C.J. No. 1571 (B.C.S.C.)
  • Representing a former branch manager in a wrongful dismissal action involving alleged harassment, in which the jury found that the claim was unsubstantiated and awarded $130,0000 in damages:   Laughlin v. Richmond Savings Credit Union, [1995] B.C.J. No. 1594 (B.C.S.C.)
  • Representing an employee in a successful motion to have a restrictive covenant declared void and unenforceable:  McCorduck v. Diachem Industries Ltd., [1985] B.C.J. No. 1544 (B.C.S.C.)
