Business litigation impacts many industries in a multitude of ways. From commercial disputes to real property disputes, employment law and numerous regulatory issues, business litigation encompasses a spectrum of problems that EKB’s business litigation team has the knowledge and experience to solve.
Having a breadth of experience representing a variety of businesses (large and small, family enterprises and public companies), EKB’s team has provided advice to and represented many different kinds of businesses and individuals on a wide range of business disputes.
That breadth of experience allows us to recognize problems before they start and to resolve already active disputes creatively, keeping the unique circumstances of our clients in mind. For example, EKB’s lawyers have successfully conducted mediations in a number of cases to resolve complex multi-party disputes very early in the litigation process saving the clients considerable legal and expert witness costs while achieving favourable settlements for our clients.
Much of EKB’s business litigation work comes from referrals by other lawyers who are confident in our abilities to effectively and diligently represent their clients, as well as referrals from previous clients who were satisfied with the outcome that EKB achieved for them.
