Effective January 1st, Laura Morrison has joined the firm’s partnership.
Laura Morrison is a skilled lawyer with a broad civil litigation practice, focusing on commercial litigation, pharmacy law, and administrative law. She has represented clients at the BC Court of Appeal, the Provincial Court, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Laura has represented clients across a range of industries, including:
- Pharmacies in disputes with PharmaCare and the College of Pharmacists
- Owners and contractors in prosecuting and defending builders liens and construction claims
- Debtors and creditors in collection matters
For Laura, identifying the legal problem is only step one. Understanding how that problem affects the client is key to finding a resolution. Laura works to understand how each of her clients defines value; she then adjusts her approach as necessary.
Laura obtained her J.D. from UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law. She joined EKB in 2014 after articling with the firm.
