Ian van den Dolder practices business law, with a focus on commercial real estate and general corporate commercial matters. Ian’s commercial real estate practice encompasses a broad range of components, including structuring, financing, acquisitions, dispositions, commercial lending and developments.
Ian’s clients include institutional landlords, developers, real estate investment trusts (REITs), educational institutions and other private entities.
Ian acts for both landlords and tenants in negotiating a high volume of retail, office and industrial leases.
Ian also provides advice to domestic and multinational businesses on corporate structures and governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and mergers and acquisitions.
Ian joined EKB as an associate in 2018, following a period of articling with the firm.

• Advises on acquisitions and dispositions of numerous commercial real estate properties, including retail, multi-family residential, and industrial properties
