Jamie Son

Jamie Son is a summer student at EKB, joining the firm in May 2026 after finishing her second year of law school at the Peter A. Allard School of Law.

During law school, Jamie volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada on the “Kinbrace – My Refugee Claim” project. She has also been actively involved in student life, previously serving as Treasurer of the UBC Korean Law Students Association and VP Internal of the Allard IP Club. She also worked as an internal policy assistant for a multi-university, data and education resource facilitating interdisciplinary research on the determinants of human health and development.

Prior to law school, Jamie obtained an undergraduate degree in Theatre Design from the University of British Columbia.
