Laura Morrison is a Partner at EKB, with a broad civil litigation practice focused on commercial litigation and administrative law. She advises and represents clients in disputes involving property, business operations, regulated industries, and debt enforcement.
Laura frequently handles property-related disputes, including trespass and nuisance claims, the enforcement of easements and statutory rights-of-way, and expropriations. Her commercial litigation practice includes shareholder and contract disputes, as well as collection proceedings.
Laura takes a practical and business-focused approach to dispute resolution. She works with clients to understand not only the legal issue but also how it affects their broader objectives. Where appropriate, she seeks efficient, cost-effective resolutions through negotiation, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Laura has represented clients at all levels of British Columbia’s courts.
