Alina is a Designated Paralegal and has experience in a broad range of civil litigation matters including business litigation, estate litigation, personal injury and insurance claims. She has experience in cases in all levels of court in British Columbia.
Alina has more than 17 years of experience in the legal industry and has worked solely in litigation. She began her career in 1998 as a legal administrative assistant and completed her paralegal certificate in 2004. She works closely with the litigation partners and associates throughout all aspects of the litigation file from inception to conclusion. Through her varied responsibilities, Alina has extensive knowledge of substantive and procedural aspects of litigation and has developed expertise in managing complex files and large volumes of documents and is well versed in a number of litigation software support systems. In all aspects of her practice areas she prepares court documents, including pleadings and application materials, provides ongoing file management, manages e-discovery and voluminous documents, conducts legal research and assists in all aspects of examination for discovery, mediation and trial preparation. Alina regularly deals with clients, opposing counsel, adjusters, experts, witnesses and other decision makers to move her cases forward.
