Ian van den Dolder practices business law, with a focus on commercial real estate and general corporate commercial matters. Ian’s commercial real estate practice encompasses a broad range of components including structuring, financing, acquisitions, dispositions, commercial lending and developments.

Ian’s clients include institutional landlords, developers, real estate investment trusts (REITs), educational institutions and other private entities.

Ian acts for both landlords and tenants in negotiating a high volume of retail, office and industrial leases.

Ian also provides advice to domestic and multi-national businesses in relation to corporate structures and governance, drafting and negotiation of contracts and mergers and acquisitions.

Ian joined EKB as an associate in 2018 after articling with the firm.
